exceptionally heartwarming passionate sound and his effortless ability

He is also known for his formation of some of the most reputable string ensembles and orchestras in the country. In 1983, he formed the Philippine String Ensemble. And soon after that, the Philippine Chamber Orchestra, a classical orchestra that most notably played regularly for the "Concert At The Park" series in Luneta. As demand for pop music increased, Benjie put together the Philippine Pops Orchestra, which played for the elite of that time - Jaworski's, Cojuanco's, Lopez', Estrada's, etc. Then, over a decade ago, he was asked to organize the Philippine Centennial Orchestra to play at the "Expo Pilipino", now Clark Expo, and the 120-member Millennium Orchestra to perform at the Luneta Grandstand for a grand "Millennium Presentation".
Benjie has appeared in hundreds of solo, ensemble and orchestra performances in recordings, concerts and TV shows. From VST to ASAP ROCKS performances. Sharon Cuneta, Martin Nievera, Basil Valdez, Lani Misalucha, Kuh Ledesma, Bituin Escalante, Charice Pempengco. Name it. He's worked with them.
After suffering three strokes, Benjie still performs but has chosen to tone down his workload.
