Stefana Brancastle is an independent french film director, writer producer.
With a fine arts background and education, Brancastle continued her studies with a Post-Graduate Dramatic Arts Diploma at the renowned Cours Florent in Paris (France).
She directed and acted in several plays before moving to London (UK) in 2004 where she continued her studies in filmmaking with a diploma at The London Film Academy and MA Degree at The London Film School.
She has worked extensively over the years on stage and on film productions as director/writer and actor in France and Great Britain, as well as collaborating with major film productions such as "The Da Vinci Code", "The Other Boleyn Girl", "Sweeney Todd" and a number of independent film projects.
With a powerful original style in psychological/emotional storytelling and imagery, Brancastle has won many awards and recognition, directing/writing and producing her own films.
Brancastle's unique filmmaker signature comes from her all rounded education, experience and knowledge gained throughout the years from her passion and love for truth, history, music, film, art, movement. Her professional collaborations span over a gamut of disciplines and talents, from new and established productions to independent ones, national and international.
Brancastle's independent feature film, "The Mechanism of Suspended Time" (2018) garnered several international awards as Best Film, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Script, Best Director.
Brancastle is developing at present two new feature films, aimed to start production in 2023 and 2025 and an animation. Her work continues to give a voice to stories and experiences that share love, truth, hope, peace.
