Andrea Perry was born on August 8, 1967 in Oberlin, Ohio. Her father is concert pianist and pedagogue John Perry and her mother is composer and pianist Kathryn Mishell. Perry grew up in Austin, Texas and attended Westlake High School and then Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Her composing career began with her songs for video games and her debut CD "Saturday Morning Sweet Shoppe" around the turn of the century. She has continued since then to write songs and scores for advertising, games, TV and film.
