Mumbai, March 28 (Ians) Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma have shot a special video encouraging fans to play Holi while keeping social distancing norms in mind amid Covid-19 pandemic resurgence.

In the special video, while Nawaz blows a melange of colours towards Neha, she takes the fun a notch higher with a water balloon! The two actors show how Holi can be played without any physical contact following the Covid-19 guidelines.

The video aims to spread an important message of "Holi khelo, Magar dooor Se", keeping in mind the importance of 'social distancing' during the festival of colours this year.

Mumbai, Feb 27 (Ians) Filmmaker Kushan Nandy says his upcoming film Jogira Sara Ra Ra! is special for lead actor Nawazuddin and him.

"Jogira Sara Ra Ra! is a very special film for Nawaz and me, because the Covid lockdown had seemed endless. I am so glad that we are finally going to be on a set and begin shooting," said Nandy added.

"This is a quirky romantic comedy about an unlikely couple and a host of unusual characters. We began our start-to-finish schedule with all of them and go on right until the middle of April," he added, about the film co-starring Neha Sharma.

"It's exciting to work with Nawaz once again and create something diametrically opposite of what we did last time," said the director, referring to their 2017 action drama Babumoshai Bandookbaaz.

The film also features Sanjay Mishra and Mimoh Chakraborty, and will be shot in Barabanki town near Lucknow.

Mumbai, Nov 1 (Ians) Actor Namit Das picked up how to make shoes while working on the Mira Nair web series, A Suitable Boy. He now says shoemaking could be his alternative profession!

In Nair's series, Namit plays Haresh Khanna, a shoemaker, a businessman and one of the suitors of Lata, the lead character played by Tanya Maniktala.

For the sake of authenticity, Namit learnt the process of shoemaking right from cutting the leather to fixing the sole of a shoe.

"I went to a factory that makes shoes in Navi Mumbai to understand the mechanised process of shoemaking. After that, I went to a 'desi' cobbler near JJ Flyover and kept visiting him for eight days. I sat with him on the pavement and learnt how to make a shoe. I know how to make a shoe and if I ever gave it a try it could be my alternative profession.

Harshvardhan took to Twitter and posted a long note sharing that he had fever and stomach ache. He captioned the post saying, "Tested Corona Positive."

In the note, he wrote: "Hi lovely people, So I had fever and a stomach ache, and went to a hospital to get an opinion. They said it's mostly viral fever as lungs are super healthy and no other symptoms, and performed a routine covid test just to rule it out."
