Jaclyn Forbes is known for her work as an actress on Nickelodeon's Dino Dan (2010), Falling Skies (2011), and Prom Night (2017). Jaclyn began her career at six years old in Toronto, Canada, where she worked in various commercials and short films, parallel to her school education. In 2007, she made an appearance in She Drives Me Crazy, where she portrayed a younger version of the character played by Melinda Clarke, Blithe Meacham. After another short film appearance in The Black Shell in 2008, the young Canadian young actress was cast soon after for the new Nickelodeon series Dino Dan. Jaclyn joined the original cast of the series, playing the role of Kami, where she went on to appear in 36 episodes over 2 seasons. Her achievements with Dino Dan include a Young Artist Award nomination for "Best Performance in a Television Series - Recurring Young Actress", and was awarded with the "Outstanding Young Ensemble Cast in a Television Series" Young Artist Award with the rest of the series' cast. Among other projects, she lent her voice to a character in Wild Kratts (2011), and was also featured in an episode of Steven Spielberg's Falling Skies (2011). Jaclyn's most recent work as an actress was in Prom Night (2017), which went on to be featured in the 2017 Just For Laugh's Festival.
After pursuing post secondary education in the arts, Jaclyn continued her work in the Film and Television industry as a makeup artist on the children's television series Odd Squad and Odd Squad: The Movie (2016).
Jaclyn continues to work in the digital space as a host and content creator for MUCH. Jaclyn's YouTube content garnered her a nomination for 'Fan Fave Much Creator' at the 2017 & 2018 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards. She was the recipient of the 'Best Beauty Video' at the 2018 P&G Beauty Awards.
