Exclusive: Actress Susan Park has signed with Prototype Talent Agency for theatrical representation.

Park was most recently seen on the AppleTV+ dark comedy High Desert starring Patricia Arquette, and in Starz’s thriller Shining Vale, opposite Courteney Cox. Park is known for her lead role as “Jinju” on Season 1 of TNT’s Snowpiercer and for her role as Christine, Walton Goggins’ wife, on HBO’s hit comedy Vice Principals.

On the feature side, she was seen in the Randall Park rom-com, Always Be My Maybe, and opposite Brie Larson in Unicorn Store, both for Netflix. Additionally, Park both starred in and wrote on Blindspotting for Starz. She also created and directed the TV pilot, Lucy & Sara, which premiered at SXSW.

Exclusive: Talent agent Marisa Patella has joined Prototype Talent Agency. Formerly with A3, Patella joins Prototype following the recent closure of the agency.

Patella was a fast-rising star at A3 where she began in 2019 as an assistant in the Talent division before being promoted to Coordinator and then Talent Agent. Patella studied Arts Administration at Wagner College and began her career as a casting assistant at Laura Stanczyk Casting, where she focused on Regional Theatre, Off-Broadway and Broadway Productions. Patella is based in New York and will work with the Talent department in film and television but will also help expand the agency’s theater presence.

Patella’s hiring comes just days after Senior Talent Agent Pietra Ingenito joined the agency, as well as the recent hires of talent agents Julian Cohen and Alex Rand-Lewis.

Exclusive: Veteran rep Pietra Ingenito has joined Prototype Talent Agency as a senior talent agent. Ingenito comes to Prototype following a 5-year stint with A3 Artists Agency, which recently ceased operations.

Ingenito began her career as an assistant at Greene and Associates, before spending several years at TalentWorks as an agent, working with numerous actors in film and television.

Clients joining Ingenito at Prototype include Olivia Liang (Kung Fu), Chelsea Harris, Damien Diaz (Hard Miles), Jeremy Shada (Julie & The Phantoms), Kayla Smith, and Nicole Zyana. Others are expected to follow shortly.

Ingenito follows other recent hires at Prototype including Talent Agents Julian Cohen and Alex Rand-Lewis, a former A3 colleague of Ingenito’s.

Kiefer Sutherland, Maggie Q, and Adan Canto’s Designated Survivor family came together to say goodbye to the late actor.

Canto died after a private battle with appendiceal cancer and was memorialized by his former co-stars. The photo shared on social media also included Lamonica Garrett, Italia Ricci, custome designer Nancy Gould, and series creator David Guggenheim.

Family, friends and former co-stars of Adan Canto took to social media on Tuesday to remember the actor following news that The Cleaning Lady and Designated Survivor star died of cancer at age 42.

“Forever my treasure Adan, see you soon,” Stephanie Canto, Adan’s wife, wrote on Instagram. She paired the message with a passage from Matthew 6:19-21 and a photo of the couple together.

Canto died Tuesday of appendiceal cancer, his rep told The Hollywood Reporter. His diagnosis had not been made public.

“Adan had a depth of spirit that few truly knew. Those who glimpsed it were changed forever,” read a statement. “He will be greatly missed by so many.”

Along with his wife, he is survived by their two children, Roman Alder, 3, and Eve Josephine, 1.

Canto was known by many as Aaron Shore on Netflix’s Designated Survivor, the White House Chief of Staff-turned-Vice President to Kiefer Sutherland’s Tom Kirkman.

Kiefer Sutherland is remembering his Designated Survivor co-star Adan Canto, who died Monday at age 42.

“It seems lately I have had to make too many posts like this one, but I am heartbroken by the loss of Adan Canto,” Sutherland lamented on Instagram on Tuesday. “He was such a wonderful spirit. As an actor, his desire to do well, to be great, and then do better was truly impressive and he will be greatly missed. I am also heartbroken for his wife, Steph and his two young children. Exclusive: Alex Rand-Lewis has joined Prototype Talent Agency, the agency founded last year by Brian Wittenstein.

Prior to Prototype, Rand-Lewis was with A3 Artists Agency, where he started in the mailroom and worked his way up through the ranks as an assistant in the Voiceover department before moving over to Talent as an assistant, coordinator and then being promoted to talent agent. During his time at A3, Rand-Lewis worked with talent including Rj Mitte (Breaking Bad), Taylor Misiak (Dave), Steven Krueger (Yellowjackets), and Samuel Roukin.

“One year ago, I launched this agency to create a new destination for talent representation and am excited to add Alex to the team,” Wittenstein said. “His energy, passion and way of thinking about the business truly aligns with what we are doing over here at Prototype.”

Talent agent Brian Wittenstein is launching a new company, Prototype Talent Agency, which he is starting with many of his existing clients, including Italia Ricci, WWE’s “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and Piper Curda.

The move comes a month and a half after Wittenstein exited Hyperion Talent Agency following misconduct allegations.

Other clients who are following Wittenstein to Prototype include Emery Kelly, Ricky Garcia, Major Curda, Brandi Rhodes, Owen Patrick Joyner, Julia Garcia (Sydney to the Max), and martial artist/viral sensation Rayna Vallandingham.

The streaming service canceled Partner Track and The Imperfects.

Partner Track launched on August 26 but failed to garner much traction.

The series followed Ingrid Yun (Arden Cho), a 1st generation Korean American and the first lawyer in her family, who experiences the trials and tribulations of excelling at the prestigious (but old school) law firm, Parsons Valentine.

Bradley Gibson (Power Book II: Ghost), Alexandra Turshen (Ray Donovan), Dominic Sherwood (Shadowhunters), and Rob Heaps (Good Girls) also starred.

The cast was rounded out by Nolan Gerard Funk (The Flight Attendant), Matthew Rauch (Banshee), and Roby Attal (The Haunting of Bly Manor).

Unfortunately, the series ended on a big cliffhanger, meaning it joins the ranks of Netflix's other one-and-done series that failed to get conclusions.

TBS announced that its newly re-imagined version of the extreme obstacle course series, “Wipeout,” will premiere on April 1 at 9 p.m. The game show will be hosted by superstars John Cena and Nicole Byer, with Camille Kostek serving as field host. The 20-hour series “takes viewers on a white-knuckle ride, featuring new course elements that will push contestants’ athleticism, endurance and determination to even greater extremes as they fight to win the grand cash prize.” Endemol Shine North America has produced the series for TBS. For the Kiefer Sutherland-led political thriller, this marks the second time it’s gotten the chop. The first two seasons ran on its original network home, ABC, with Netflix announcing plans to revive the show last fall. The show’s third season debuted on the streamer last month.

President Tom Kirkman is setting up his new office at Netflix, as Kiefer Sutherland’s “Designated Survivor” has finally received a Season 3 premiere date from the streaming service.

The former ABC drama will debut its 10-episode third season June 7 on Netflix, Sutherland said in a video tweeted Wednesday. In that same two-minute clip, the series’ lead took it upon himself to recap the political drama’s first two seasons for users who haven’t been following along with Kirkman’s journey.

“Designated Survivor” was revived for a third season by Netflix last September, with its fifth different showrunner in “ER” and “Law & Order” vet Neal Baer. The streaming service had been in talks with eOne, which produces the show, since it was canceled by ABC back in May. The political thriller was one of many broadcast TV shows to get the ax last spring during the pre-upfronts bloodbath.
