Jason Anthony Fisher is a studio-sold (Paramount Studios) and optioned screenwriter and a multi-nominated, and award-winning writer/director/producer. He has devoted time to the craft of screenwriting and developing in a range of genres. Some of his recent successes include: In 2023 at The Future of Film Awards, Jason's animated adventure short ' Artifact Mac' was an honorable mention for the best short screenplay. Plus, his British-based drama short screenplay about the knifing epidemic titled 'The Grove' was the short screenplay winner at the 2023 Big Ben International Film Festival.
In 2023, his psychological thriller, 'Musth' won Best Short Screenplay at the Top Indie Film Awards, In 2023 his drama short screenplay 'Numbers don't lie' was nominated for the best short screenplay, at the Canadian Cinematography Awards. In December 2023, 'Fable of the Jade Tiger' was nominated as a Finalist at the Myanmar Film Critics Award and is under consideration for more in February of 2024. Also, in 2023, his spy action thriller, A.K.A. The Surgeon also won the Best Short Film award and 5 other awards at the Big Ben International Film Festival. His crime drama feature script, 'Beating Vegas' was also nominated as the best feature script in the Peachtree Village International Film Festival.
Jason's romantic comedy short film that he produced and wrote titled ' Summer of Hearts', won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2023 International Open Film Festival and Best romantic comedy and comedy short at the Druk International Film Festival as well. Plus, his animated children's adventure script titled 'Artifact Mac', earned Best short script at the 2023 Druk International Film Festival.
Jason's 25-minute featurette spy-action thriller A.K.A. The film has received 24 wins plus 22 more nominations in the last few years. Among the various honors, Jason earned recognition in direction, producing, music producing, writing, original story, production design, costume design, special effects and visual effects producing and design, and sound effects producing and sound design. His cast members have also received recognition.
Jason has studied the art of writing for the screen under several of the leading gurus, who have either studied or taught at prestigious institutions: Pilar Allesandra (Taught at UCLA's Extension program), Wendal Thomas (Adjunct screenwriting Professor at UCLA), Karl Iglesias (Cornel University), Blake Snyder (Georgetown University), and Daniel P. Calvisi (NYU).
