Tim Seyfert is a screenwriter, director and actor from the San Francisco Bay Area.
He earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from San Francisco State University, then later a master's degree in film production from the University of Bristol in England.
His acting credits include the TV show 24, the sci-fi feature Mnemophrenia and the award-winning art-house short Time Travel Boyfriends.
Tim is also a published short story writer - with work featured in various literary magazines.
He made his directorial debut with the short film Terminus, which he also wrote and produced on a zero budget. The film earned critical praise upon its release with Film Threat rating it 8.5/10.
From there, Tim wrote and directed his first feature film, Nowhere. Shot on a micro budget, the film was positively reviewed and enjoyed a successful festival run, premiering at the Monaco International Film Festival, where it won four awards, including Best Director of a Feature for Tim. Tim's script also won Best Screenplay at both the Florence Independent Film Festival and the Niagara Canada International Film Festival. He was further honored with the award for Best First-Time Filmmaker at the Montreal Independent Film Festival.
Most recently, Tim wrote his second feature-length screenplay, Pieces of Us, which was optioned and filmed in the summer of 2024. Directed by Ben Fullman, Tim plays the lead role of Jack Holloway in the film, slated for release in 2025.
He resides in the UK and teaches English at a college.
