Exclusive: Feelgood Entertainment has acquired Greek theatrical rights to Paramyth Films’ A Green Story. Indican Pictures holds all remaining worldwide rights.
A Green Story premiered a year ago at the La Greek Film Festival, whose 2013 edition kicks off on Thursday [6].
The distributor has set a Jul 18 release for the film written and directed by Nika Agiashvili and starring Ed O’Ross, Shannon Elizabeth and Annabella Sciorra.
George Finn, Malcolm McDowell, Billy Zane, Alexis Georgoulis and Louis Mandylor also star in the story of Van Vlahakis, the Greek immigrant who arrived in America with $22 in his pocket and founded the multi-million dollar Earth Friendly Products.
Agiashvili also produced alongside John Edward Lee, Dimitri Birbilis, Deanna Plascencia and Chadwick Struck. Paramyth Film’s David Agiashvili served as executive producer. The film will premiere in Athens on Jul 15.

Indican Pictures announced today that it has acquired exclusive North American rights to the Van Vlahakis biopic, A Green Story. Indican plans to release the film theatrically in April, 2013. Through the deal, Indican also holds all video, television, ancillary and VOD rights in North America.
From Paramyth Films, A Green Story stars Ed O.Ross, Shannon Elizabeth, Annabella Sciorra, George Finn, Malcolm McDowell, Billy Zane and chronicles the life of Van Vlahakis, a Greek immigrant who arrived in America with only $22 in his pocket and eventually founded the multi-million dollar Green company, Earth Friendly Products.
The movie was written and directed by Paramyth.s Nika Agiashvili and filmed in Los Angeles, Chicago and on location in Greece. Agiashvili produced alongside John Edward Lee, Dimitri Birbilis, Deanna Plascencia and Chadwick Struck. Paramyth.s David Agiashvili served as executive producer.

The four-month shoot in Dublin for the seven-episode fourth season of the previously cancelled British sci-fi series "Primeval" has just wrapped reports Den of Geek.
It was almost a year ago ITV announced the axing of the series after its third season due to production costs. A deal was then worked out between ITV, German television company ProSieben, UKTV and BBC Worldwide to fund two further seasons of the show. The six-episode fifth season is already in production and will wrap in November.
ITV1 will broadcast season four in early 2011, while UKTV’s new entertainment pay TV channel 'Watch' will premiere the fifth season later that year before its run on ITV1. Both seasons will be broadcast in HD.
Hannah Spearritt, Andrew Lee-Potts, Ben Miller, Jason Flemyng, Lucy Brown and Ben Mansfield have all returned to the show. New cast members incorporated over the fourth and fifth season include Alexander Siddig,...
