Efisia Fele moved to Melbourne, Australia from Italy in 1989 with her
family and has lived there since. Efisia has directed and acted in many
plays and theater productions in Melbourne, Australia since 1997 when,
at the age of 16 she won the lead role in her first school play;
Federico Garcia Lorca's 'Blood Wedding' as 'The Bride'. Before
finishing high school, Efisia was already venturing into the world of
fringe theater as Assistant Director on an adaptation of Shakespeare's
'The Tempest'. After graduating from high school, she set her ambitions
high and found herself at the helm of a large cast and crew, directing
and performing several roles in a sold out, re-worked, three week
season of 'Clockwork Orange' in the year 2000. Since then, Efisia has
directed several plays by Melbourne's award winning
playwright/screenwriter/novelist, Ray Mooney;
including 'Mouth Of The Dog' and 'Cock-a-doodle-do'.
In 2005, Efisia co-wrote an Australian Outback thriller screenplay titled 'Lost Not Found' and directed a short investment teaser to showcase the intended look and feel of the thriller, which features a score by John Roome. The teaser and concept for 'Lost Not Found' gained the interest of much of the horror community online.
In late 2005, Efisia joined the cast of Death Walks The Streets as 'Danielle' and her likeness has been used for the eponymous comic book; including the exclusive Wizard World edition's cover of Issue #0.
Efisia has since been involved in several independent film projects, taking on various cast and crew roles. She has trained in physical theater, Theater of Cruelty, Butoh and several other disciplines including Stage Management.
