The LA-headquartered agency will represent the British TV, radio and pod hosts via its UK Creator practice with the support of UTA-owned Curtis Brown in specific areas. Last year, UTA signed Laing’s podcast network JamPot, which produces his and Habboo’s pods. The pair have left previous UK agency Ymu, which has experienced a great deal of change of late.

Laing and Habboo met on E4’s Made in Chelsea several years back. Canada’s Crave, Australia’s Channel Nine, New Zealand’s Three network and Discovery in Italy, the Philippines and Poland have also acquired Controlling Britney Spears, which comes off the back of the landmark Framing Britney Spears from earlier this year. The doc, from Red Arrow Studios label Left/Right and The New York Times, moves the Spears story on to examine precisely how the controversial conservatorship controlled her life. Made in Chelsea star Jess Woodley has admitted that she's disappointed that Jamie Laing said he wished he could sack her from the show.

The duo finally called an end to their will-they-won't-they relationship on Monday's episode and Jamie later admitted that it "really sucked" that he had to keep filming with her.

"I don't have the power to [get her fired from Made in Chelsea] but I wish I did!" he joked.

But the comments didn't go down too well with Jess, who told Ok! Online that she was disappointed to hear what he'd said.

"Wow, that's really spiteful of him," she said. "We fell out really bad. I guess he didn't get his way but, you know, there wasn't much I could do."

She added: "It's a shame he would feel that way. I have nothing but love for him."
