Amy Losi is an actor, director, and playwright based in New York City. She has acted in eighty-five plays, in both lead and supporting roles. She has also appeared in a commercial, TV shows (Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" and "Celebrity Ghost Stories"), web and independent film projects, and a long-running sketch comedy show at the Broadway Comedy Club. Amy is a member of the repertory company at the historic American Theatre of Actors in NYC, appearing in eighteen plays there including in the role of Mistress Ford in "The Merry Wives of Windsor." Her plays have been selected for eleven festivals, and won six awards. Her Zoom comedy "Don't Stand Up!" won the 2020 Spirit of the Hartford Fringe Festival award. She won "Best Female Screenwriter" (Cutting Room International Short Film Festival) and "Best Female Centre Film" (Philadelphia World Film Festival) for the filmed version of her play, "No Fall My Hand." Her first full-length play, "Verse DiVerse," premiered at Theater for the New City (NYC) in 2022. She can be seen in the upcoming film, "Frank and Edna Take on Le Mans."
