- Marc Gruss grew up in the southern Ruhr area and was already inspired as a youngster by film and theatre. At first he worked only "behind the scenes" as a director and stagehands, but after a while it pulled him on stage and before the camera. After a private acting training, he deepened this in the years 2007-2009 at the Stella Adler Actors Studio in Los Angeles. During this time he also strengthened his skills in directing and dramaturgy in various advanced trainings. However, he also participates furthermore in different trainings and Masterclasses to develop his abilities constantly (among other things with Bernard Hiller and Larry Moss). He plays at various theaters in Germany. In addition to his stage work, he can be seen in film and television productions. Among other things, he plays in the award-winning youth film "Das geheime Zimmer (The Secret Room)" the role of the teacher. Besides his work as an actor and director, he has a teaching position as a lecturer in "Directing Actors", "Techniques of the Director" and "chamber drama" at the Ruhrakademie in Schwerte (Germany) and works regularly as a set-coach for acting and directing in film productions.
