William Sehested Høeg, born in 1991, is a Danish film director. He studied at the The National Film School of Denmark from 2019-2023, where he graduated with a suspense comedy "Sammen Er Du Mere" (international title:"The Complaint). William has a love of comedy and works with the genre in a fresh way, by portraying the contemporary existential dramas of his generation in his films.
William began his career in the film industry as a producer assistant at Asa Film, where he learned the different aspects of filmmaking, from idea to premiere. During that time, he directed his first short, "The Tyrant", at Zentropa Productions. At Zentropa, he continued to direct two shorts, "Balloon" and "When We Meet Again". He has also worked as a director's assistant and 2nd unit director at DR Drama and at Netflix.
