Having started his career as a Juno nominated music producer, Joe Barrucco is best known for his work as a sound designer and sound supervising editor on the Rotten Tomatoes "Certified Fresh" films; Blood Quantum (2019), What Keeps You Alive (2018) , Cheap Thrills (2013) and for his co-composing work on Rhymes for Young Ghouls (2013) . His experience sound designing, composing & mixing audio spans 15 years of Commercials, Feature Films, and Games. He has mixed & sound designed Ad campaigns for many fortune 500 companies, such as AT&T, Goodyear, Coca-Cola, Kraft, HP, Budlight & others. His film contributions have visited many prestigious festivals including: TIFF, Cannes, Tribeca, Sundance, Stiges, Fantasia.
His work as Video game sound designer has afforded him the opportunity to design the Dinosaurs for Jurassic World: The Game (2015), a world of mutants for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Legends (2016) and create the unique otherworldly sound for the game We Happy Few (2018)
