Honorary activities: since 1998 President of the Federation of Expellees, since 2000 Chairwoman of the Foundation Center against Expulsions.
Member of the CDU since 1974, member of the CDU federal executive committee since 2000. 1977 to 1990 city councilor in Frankfurt am Main.
