As an Actor, Director, Writer, and Producer, Sandy Baumann has appeared in several
screen and stage productions. After earning a Bachelor degree from the
University of Texas, she interned and made history as the first female "camera man" for
the Spanish KUVN TV station on the TV show "Buenos Dias, DFW". She began directing At-Risk Teens in one-act plays sponsored by the March of Dimes before stepping into film directing. For her directorial debut, Sandy wrote, directed, edited, produced, cast, scored and acted in JEFF'S BEST FRIEND which was selected by the MACEF Film Festival 2022.
Sandy has held a variety of roles both in English and Spanish markets including Actor, Director, Writer, Producer and Casting, on various TV and film projects. She is also 1 of 10 selected nationwide for the prestigious Latino Producer Academy with her drama feature project TESORO. Most recently she was selected by Women In Film LA for their 2022 Director Mentoring Program.
