Biography

Aimee Galicia Torres was born and raised in Southern California and is the first generation of two Filipino Immigrant parents. At an early age, her dream was to be a film director and create films that inspire and brought change. With 18 years of experience as a Cinematographer, for the last 6 years, Aimee has been directing and shooting a medical docuseries called the "OHNI Case Files."

OHNI Case Files is a medical docuseries and tv show. Based on the stories of the Osborne Head and Neck Institute, OHNI Case Files depicts the experiences of a highly-specialized team of head and neck surgeons. Real-time footage includes complex surgery, compelling patient stories, international missions, and the human experience, shown through the eyes of this exceptional surgical team.

Aimee is an active voting member for the Documentary Peer Category for the TV Academy as well as an associate member of the Society of Camera Operators. Aimee shares a passion for filmmaking and humanitarian work. She has been on four international medical missions, Belize, India, Peru, and Guatemala, documenting the stories of patients with the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation. In her spare time, she volunteers as a therapy dog handler with her dog Laney visiting hospitals, schools, and retirement homes.
