Sarah Light(II)

Sarah Light was born in South Africa and immigrated to Perth Western Australia. Coming from a theatrical family where both her parents were dancer/actors, Sarah trained as a classical ballerina at the prestigious West Australian Academy of Performing Arts and upon graduation, performed with both The West Australian and Australian Ballet Companies. She then went on to train at The Actors Centre Australia in Sydney and in 2010 was cast in her first lead role in the Sydney feature film 'Who Pays The Hitman'.
Since transitioning from Dancer to Actor, Sarah has acted in numerous film and television, online streaming and theatre projects. Highlights include, 'Son of a Gun' with Ewan McGregor, (2014), the crowd pleasing Netflix feature 'How to Please A Woman' (2022) and playing the lead role of 'Lex' in the Screen Australia funded LGBTQ+ web series 'Love Me Lex' (2023).
Sarah's latest role in 2024 was in the BINGE series 'The Twelve Series 2' starring Sam Neill and 2025 is proving to be impressive with more roles cast her way in the STAN Australia series 'Invisible Boys', the ABC Series 'Mystery Road Origin Series 2' and Bruce Beresford's feature film 'Overture'.
