Marnie Collins hails from Western Canada, where she studied to be a nurse and trained to be a pilot. Her film career began in 1993, when she accidentally drove her mother's minivan onto the battlefield set of Legends of the Fall. She received an MA Writing for the Screen and Stage from Regent's University in London in 2016.
