Benicka Janae' Grant

Born in Miami, Florida, Benicka Janae' Grant began her career as a dancer when she was 6 years old. Benicka graduated from one of the most prestigious high schools in the nation, New World School of the Arts. She went on to continue her education at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts. After graduating college, Benicka booked her first theater production which was In the Heights at Artes De La Rosa in Fort Worth, Texas.

Benicka moved back to Miami in 2014 where she began her career as a professional dancer in a company called DanceNow Miami. While dancing with DanceNow, Benicka had the privilege of being a part of 3 dance residencies with Mexico City Ballet in Mexico, Opus Ballet in Florence, Italy, and Companihia Portuguesa in Lisbon, Portugal. Her Career with DanceNow continued until June 2021. Between 2014 and 2021, Benicka filmed her first 2 commercials and filmed her first music video.

In August 2021, Benicka moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She thought that she wanted to continue her dance career but she realized she also had a passion for acting. Benicka booked her first speaking role on TV ones Fatal attraction in 2022 and has had feature roles on varying TV shows and movies. Benicka booked her first movie role as a supporting actress in 2023.
