There are several aspects of the US sitcom The Office that are insane – Steve Carell being one of them, in Oscar Nuñez’s opinion. But often, the rest of the cast steals the spotlight for their overly exaggerated behavior or iconic comedic timing.
Consequentially, Jim Halpert’s classic pranks and Dwight Schrute’s borderline eccentricities might be too good to pass up. But it was often the love-obsessed Kelly Kapoor or the uptight Christian cat lady aka Angela Martin who came out as the day’s highlight.

However, the series wasn’t always the source of warm and laughter-inducing comfort that it set out to be.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune has now been delayed from October 14th, 2024 until 2025. That means diehard fans will have to wait even longer to see Pat Sajak’s final spin. This is disheartening for those who do not care for Ryan Seacrest, who Pat passed the torch for Season 42. So, why has this happened? Keep reading for more details.
Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune Delayed Until 2025
Fans were thrilled to learn that Pat Sajak would be back for one more spin on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. When he announced he would be leaving WoF at the end of Season 41, there were mixed emotions. Some felt he had gotten bitter and angry while others could not see the game show with another host. Ryan Seacrest was soon named as his replacement and, again, mixed feelings. He has hosted everything from Live! With Kelly to American Idol to his own radio show to Dick Clark...

For nine seasons, The Office, the mocumentary-style comedic television show about a paper distributor located in the humble Scranton, Pa has produced years of laughs and memorable content. We have probably worked with some of the employee caricatures represented at Dunder Mifflin at one time or another. We have the office romance, drama, and situations that we'd often envied.
I mean who wouldn't want a goofy, idiotic boss to work for? Who wouldn't want to be a witness to the office couple whose relationship is less stable than a Jenga set? Who would want to watch the office comedian constantly get one over on the office rat? Today we are going to be looking at the cast back when the show first premiered on March 24, 2005.

Oceana, the world’s largest international advocacy organization focused on ocean conservation, held its annual SeaChange Summer Party on Saturday.
The Laguna Beach party, hosted this year by Ted Danson, raised $1.5 million for campaigns to protect and restore the oceans in California and around the world. “We’ve been doing it for 17 years, and we’ve raised over $20 million just from that area alone,” Danson told THR.
“They are such a dedicated, supportive, generous audience down there, it’s one of our favorite events,” the actor said, adding that the organization is “usually able to get Hollywood to come down” for the fundraiser.
This year’s event, which honored longtime supporter and SeaChange co-founder Valarie Van Cleave, included an address from the organization’s new CEO Jim Simon. Singer Lisa Loeb also performed a private concert for attendees. The party had a slew of celebrity guests alongside Danson, including Diane Lane,...

Showrunner Greg Daniels’ sequel to hit sitcom The Office has been commissioned for a series at Peacock. Domhnall Gleeson will lead the ensemble cast.
There have been repeated talks of a revival of the American version of The Office revival in the years since it concluded. Given the success of the show, it seemed to be a question not of if, but when. We now have the answer.
Greg Daniels, who developed the American remake and served as showrunner for the majority of its nine seasons, has co-created a sequel series with Michael Konan.
Described as being “set in the same universe” as The Office, the description, via Deadline, reads as follows:

If you don’t know, the TV show premiered in 2005 and ran for nine seasons. It starred Steve Carrell, John Krasinski, Rainn Wilson, B.J. Novak, Jenna Fischer, Mindy Kaling, Leslie David Baker, Phyllis Smith, Angela Kinsey, Kate Flannery, Brian Baumgartner, Ed Helms, Oscar Nuñez and Craig Robinson.
On Tuesday (January 16), Greg Daniels, who adapted the UK version for US television, will be gathering together a group of writers for a possible development of a new show within the franchise and to throw around ideas.
The show would not be a reboot bringing back the original stars, but rather, a new show set in a new office with new characters. It would,...

Exclusive: The long-awaited expansion of The Office universe appears to be getting closer to becoming a reality.
Greg Daniels, who adapted NBC’s The Office for American audiences based on the hit BBC series of the same name from Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, is setting up a development room with his trusted writers, sources tell Deadline. It is set to begin work on Tuesday to explore ideas for a follow-up series.
The potential new series, which is not a reboot, would likely be set in a new office with new characters but live within the same world as the Steve Carell-led mockumentary series which follows employees at the Scranton, Pennsylvania, branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
A documentary crew doing a documentary about a different subject is a possibility as a premise for a possible Office universe extension, Daniels has said.

Not only do Disney have a second season of The Santa Clauses being released this holiday season, they also have a handful of new festive movies coming too. The first of which is Dashing Through the Snow.
Ludacris plays a divorced social worker who despises Christmas after a painful childhood memory but has to spend Christmas Eve on a call with his daughter and a man who very much loves Christmas.
I think this movie’s biggest problem is that it seems to try to have several different stories run alongside each other, with the lead one just being ‘daughter tries to convince her Dad that Christmas is a happy time of year’. There are some weird subplots here that of course involve Santa and reindeer,...

Some might say they don’t want a lot for Christmas, but who’s going to turn down a Christmas movie starring rapper-actor Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and comedian Lil Rel Howery?
Directed by Tim Story, and produced by Will Packer’s Will Packer Productions, comes the comedic fantasy film “Dashing Through the Snow,” which carries the title of the classic Christmas jingle “Dashing Through the Snow (Jingle Bells).”
In the lighthearted tale, Bridges stars as Eddie Garrick, a social worker who no longer believes in the magic of Christmas due to a traumatic childhood experience. But, with the help of his Christmas-loving daughter Charlotte (Madison Skye Validum) and good ol’ Saint Nick — who just goes by Nick (Lil Rel Howery) — the group is on a mission to restore Eddie’s faith in Christmas while evading wicked politician Conrad Harf (Oscar Nuñez).

Chris “Ludacris” Bridges never planned on being an actor when he started his rap career during the late ’90s. He attributes his successful transition from music to acting to late writer-director John Singleton, who gave him his breakout role as Tej Parker in the “The Fast and the Furious” (2001) sequel “2 Fast 2 Furious” (2003).
During a discussion about his new role as Eddie Garrick in Disney+’s new Christmas movie “Dashing Through the Snow,” Bridges discussed his more than 20-year career as an actor, and how acting initially was never “part of the plan.”
While his debut role was playing an unsatisfied customer in record producer and filmmaker DJ Pooh’s comedy “The Wash” (2001), it wasn’t until Singleton cast him as a former street racer and mechanic that his acting career went full speed ahead.
“No, it was not part of the plan. I always give credit to John Singleton,...

In “Dashing Through the Snow,” Lil Rel Howery has the off-the-cuff funk energy of a hustler who’s so quick that you believe his spiel before you’ve had the chance to outthink it. The whole issue of believing is key to the movie, since Howery plays Santa Claus — or, perhaps, a petty criminal who’s pretending to be Santa Claus. The character calls himself Nick, and he’s dressed as a variation on the old-school Victorian Santa: half-frame glasses, a coat festooned with gold buttons and paramilitary shoulder flaps, a vest of gold finery, along with a few token bits of street cool.
Howery’s line readings sound improvised, and that’s a good thing. He’s the ebullient, fast-talking spark plug of a formula comedy with a cheap engine, though one that putters along harmlessly enough. Not so long ago, there were maybe three or four Christmas movies per holiday season.

Imagine being “impish” on Christmas day and getting smacked by Belsnickel with a broomstick! That’s how watching director Tim Story’s latest film, Dashing Through the Snow, feels. Every year, we have a slew of “Christmas-themed” movies around this time, and the majority of those range from mediocre to bad. In fact, the number of bad “Christmas movies” has grown significantly with the likes of Netflix and other Ott’s taking the reins of entertainment. Dashing Through the Snow is a Disney+ Hotstar product, and it’s not much different from the ones you see on Netflix, except there’s barely any romance here, and the target audience is most likely kids and young teens.
So what do we have here? A grown man who really hates Christmas is so original, right? Anyway, Eddie has his reasons for feeling the way he does about everyone’s favorite holiday. And yes,...

Every time Lil Rel Howery watches his new Disney+ film “Dashing Through the Snow,” he gets “emotional” seeing a Black Santa.
“Because, it’s like, you see Black Santa – [Chris “Ludacris” Bridges” and I] were talking about this earlier – when you see the end of the movie, like, every time I see the end of it, and I’m like, ‘Is it weird because it’s me?’ But, I always get emotional,” Howery, who plays Santa “Nick” Claus in the film, told TheWrap. “Like, wow, just to see Santa fly through the air. That’s a Black Santa. He’s waving. It’s just a beautiful thing because we don’t see that often. I’m actually very honored and cannot wait to see how children react to this because I do think it’s so very special what we did with the representation.”

Some of the best television shows are about whip-smart operators and the political nuances of their professional worlds. So why then is it so challenging to make a satisfying series about academia? It’s not only difficult to think of a television show that has succeeded in lifting the veil of a university, it’s tough to think of shows that have even tried. The most recent swipe at it was Netflix’s “The Chair,” a thin but charming dramedy starring Sandra Oh that ended after a single season. Even as college campuses remain a go-to battleground for American culture wars, the inner lives of the professors caught in the crossfire are usually reserved for novels.

Plot: Lucky Hank is an eight-episode mid-life crisis tale set at Railton College. Told in the first person by William Henry Devereaux, Jr., the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in the Pennsylvania rust belt.
Review: Bob Odenkirk is one hell of an actor. The accomplished comedian joined Breaking Bad as Saul Goodman in what many of us assumed was a comic relief role before turning in a bravura performance as the lawyer in his spin-off, Better Call Saul. While earning acclaim in that role, Odenkirk became an unexpected action hero in Nobody, proving his versatility across genres. Now, Odenkirk blends his dramatic and comedic chops for a new AMC series, Lucky Hank. Based on the Richard Russo novel Straight Man, Lucky Hank is a biting and satirical comedy that is equally serious and funny, with a substantial leading role for Odenkirk as the title character.

Set in 1956 and ’57, The Long Game abounds in spectacular vintage cars, pristine and gleaming and a signal of the tidy shape of the movie’s narrative. That’s not to say there are no ups and downs, no setbacks and reversals in the drama that unfolds, but director Julio Quintana (The Vessel) has tailored it to reassure, using gentle comic strokes and zingy visuals to explore a true story of sports underdogs and their triumph against bigotry. Jay Hernandez provides the grounded enthusiasm as a high school administrator with a passion for golf and a vision of better things for Mexican Americans like him and his students. Together, he and his coltish team, dubbed the Mustangs, take on the country-club set, with Dennis Quaid providing effortless old-timer charm as a key ally and Cheech Marin on hand as a wiseass Yoda.

Bob Odenkirk is going through a midlife crisis in the AMC series, “Lucky Hank”.
Adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, Straight Man, by Richard Russo, the “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” alum plays Hank Devereaux Jr., head of the English department at the underfunded Railton College, whose life begins to fall apart. Hank’s unhappiness is rooted in unresolved issues with his father, a mediocre and entitled student body and the fact that his department is more divided than ever. ‘The Killing”s Mireille Enos co-stars as Lily Devereaux, Hank’s wife and vice principal of a local high school, who starts to question the path she’s on and the choices she’s made amid his downward spiral.
The newly released trailer reveals the extent of Hank’s discontentment as he publicly declares to a class of students that they’re swimming in mediocrity and because they’re...
