For a while there it looked like Man City might be about to help Sunderland out in their efforts to strike a deal to bring more attacking options in to the Stadium Of Light as Bruno Zuculini was hotly tipped to be on his way to Wearside on loan. That rumour apparently started thanks to Zuculini’s father, who seemingly confirmed ahead of the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal that his son would play that game and then join Poyet’s side on loan for five months.
Unfortunately for Sunderland, that hasn’t materialised and the highly-rated 21 year old Argentinian has now joined up with Valencia on loan for the season instead.
There’s also news today that Qpr are on the verge of signing Sunderland target Eduardo Vargas, the Chilean attacker who was recently linked with a loan move to Wearside. It now looks like that deal is about to be completed,...

As international football takes a backseat to club action over the busy festive period, Luiz Felipe Scolari can put his feet up for the winter and be content.
Big Phil, as the British tabloids dubbed him, celebrates a year in charge of this current stint as Brazil boss at the end of November. Following an indifferent start to his Second Coming, the Samba Boys have won 12 of the last 13 under the former World Cup winner.
We need hardly say it, but the weight of expectation on Scolari to deliver that trophy again on home soil next summer is massive. Given the hot form his team are in they are rightly seen as being in pole position for such glory.
Having mauled hapless Honduras 5-0 with the goals getting more sensational as the match wore on, Brazil then tackled England’s conquerors Chile in their last outing of...

Boro supremo Tony Mowbray is hoping to conclude deals for Bristol City winger Albert Adomah and another defender, in time for his side’s curtain raiser at home to Leicester this Saturday.
The Teessiders are reported to have had a seven figure sum accepted by recently relegated City, and Adomah is due to meet with Middlesbrough officials for talks and a medical.
Bristol City had already fended off interest from Wigan Athletic, but the 25-year-old Ghanian winger has told his employers he wants to leave to play Championship football once again; in order to ensure a seat on the Ghanian plane to Brazil for the World Cup.
Versatile defender Frazer Richardson has also been training with the Middlesbrough first team squad and looks to be finalising a short term contract.
Tony Mowbray is under no illusions that his squad is looking rather thin, and needs additions like Adomah and Richardson...

These days everything is getting a gritty remake or reimagining -- like Snow White, Peter Pan, Hansel and Gretel and Sleeping Beauty -- so what's not to say that, oh, 15 years down the line we won't see folks rebooting the Toy Story franchise, but with a rougher (and tougher) set of characters. Reimagined by designer Luis Eduardo Vargas Montoya, here are the badass, weathered action-figure versions of Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody. We'd like to see Lotso try to pull a fast one on these two without getting his arms ripped off and shoved up his nostrils inside three minutes. Check it: [via Cartoon Brew]

Here's a couple of incredible custom made action figures for Toy Story's Buzz Lightyear and Woody. These were created by Luis Eduardo Vargas Montoya, and they are completely badass looking. He calls the series Toy Story Unleashed. What do you all think?
