A pivotal moment occurred on his eighth birthday when his father gifted him a magic set, sparking a lifelong passion for magic.
At thirteen, David was accepted into the prestigious Magic Castle's Junior Magicians Program, an opportunity that provided mentorship from world-class magicians. David's expertise in magic extends beyond traditional illusions, with mastery in escape acts, including Houdini's iconic water-filled Milk Can Escape. His accomplishments include winning First Place in the Hollywood Cavalcade of Magic, and he even received a proclamation from the Mayor of Ventura for "Magic Days."
In addition to his success in magic, David pursued acting, studying the Sanford Meisner technique-a renowned method that focuses on improvisation, behavior, and repetition exercises. He describes this two-year program as one of the most significant learning experiences of his life.
David's interests extend into martial arts, having trained in diverse styles such as Kung Fu, Filipino Kali, Kenpo Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Aikido, and more. His knowledge in martial arts also contributed to his work as a stuntman in film and television.
Today, David balances his time between performing magic, acting, and teaching. His teaching experience includes classes on magic, martial arts, self-defense, and fitness. As a Certified Fitness Instructor, David has worked with various organizations, including the YMCA and private fitness clients.
David's life showcases a unique combination of performance art, physical discipline, and a deep commitment to education, making him a truly versatile professional.
