Sofia Antonia Milone was born in Northallerton, UK, to Margaret Christine (Chris) Matheson and Antonio (Tony) Milone. She spent most of her early years in Bradford, before moving to Manchester to attend Manchester Metropolitan School of Theatre in 1997. Although she made her debut in 2000, she returned to the screen in 2022 after a nearly 20 year break.
