Born in Tunis, Tunisia on the Mediterranean to a Tunisian American father and a Tunisian French mother, Hassen Kacem from a young age has had a flair for entertainment and making his family and younger sister laugh. At the age of 7 years old his family moved to the United States of America starting from scratch, settling in Missouri.
After convincing his father to take him to the movies to see Christopher Nolan's, The Dark Knight on premiere day, he discovered a love for film like no other. It was at the age of 9 years old he told his parents he wanted to become an actor when he grew up.
After getting signed to Images Agency at 9 years old, and stepping into the business booking a commercial spots and local shoots around St. Louis, MO; the young Kacem realized that there's more to acting than just showing up and acting in front of others. As he grew older and got into middle school and then high school, he started getting involved more in sports such as American Football, Rugby, as well as Boxing, that was taking his time away from acting.
Once he got into University however things changed. Majoring in psychology, He was drawn to the casting calls listed around the University of Missouri's campus. After acting in a few award winning student films, the award winning actor fell back in love with the art of acting.
Kacem then decided after university, he would take the risk and pursue acting as a career. Going back to his old agency he immediately started booking commercials and sending out auditions and adding another agent being signed by Moxie Talent Agency in Kansas City, MO.
