- Bruce Mitchell, an American native of Southern TN, is the creative force behind the "Chasing A Dream" series, drawing on his own life experiences. His venture into the world of television includes a pre-production project in 2021, "The Walking Dead Survival Instincts," based on the acclaimed AMC series, which was unfortunately canceled in 2022.
Bruce's foray into acting began with a fifth-grade play, portraying a fireman, and continued into high school where he joined the football team. As a versatile athlete, he played Free Safety (FS) and Outside Linebacker (OLB) during his freshman year but was sidelined due to an injury mid-season. Undeterred, he also competed in wrestling and track & field.
By his senior year, Bruce returned to football with new positions as Wide Receiver (WR) and Cornerback (CB). Despite the challenges, his speed and talent were undeniable, and he earned the role of team captain both in his freshman and senior years.
After high school, Bruce's athletic career continued as he tried out and made a semi-pro football team. His first season was highlighted by a 75-yard touchdown and solid defensive plays. He became known for a particularly impactful hit during the playoffs in his second season, which helped him earn the title of team captain.
