Queen Máxima of the Netherlands was born on 17 May 1971 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has been married to King Willem-Alexander since 2 February 2002. They have three children.
In 1999 she met her husband, Crown Prince Willem-Alexander of the
Netherlands, at a party in Seville, Spain. She had heard a prince would
be there, but had no clue who it might be.
