Stephanie Jackson, MD is a pediatric neurologist-sleep specialist. She's also a theatre kid who discovered a love for performing arts as a teenager. She was a member of acting troupes in college, and landed a part in Southport Community Theatre's "All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten" right before entering medical school. Acting (creative endeavors in general) took a back seat while she devoted her life to medicine, and "Dr. Stephie" worked for a decade as the only board certified pediatric neurologist-sleep specialist in Indiana - at the largest children's hospital in the state.
During the pandemic, Stephanie became a regular participant in screenwriters' virtual table reads, reigniting her love for the theatre arts. In 2022, she decided it was time to pursue her passions as part of a career change. She moved to Los Angeles at the start of 2023, and has been making appearances on stage, screen, and in voiceover.
