Graduated with a Master's degree in filmmaking from the University of the West of Scotland in 2021, Dennis developed his skills within the directing department through multiple short film projects, both fictional and non-fictional. His graduation short fiction film Burns Night (credit: writer-director) premiered at the Ealing Film Festival London of 2022. After his studies, he worked as a script supervisor for various German TV shows for more than two years. In April 2024 he was promoted to first assistant director and started working alternately in both capacities. Aiming for a career in directing, he primarily would like to extend his experience as 1st AD, especially within the English-speaking industry.
