Mitchell Weidemann is a writer and producer from Johannesburg, South Africa. He is known for multiple short films, stage productions and documentaries where he has worked as either a producer, writer or - on some occasions - in the camera department. His inspirations for being a writer come from a wide range of authors, playwrights and screenwriters. His inspirations range from Michael Morpurgo and Oscar Wilde to Quentin Tarintino and Jed Mercurio. The aspiring filmmaker is also one of the founders of the South African based production company Big Five Productions.
