Cole Aansen is an actor, educator, and linguist. Born and raised in northeast Ohio, Aansen attended Montessori education for 15 years, including three years at a residential school on a farm.
Based on real life Odette Sansom, the most decorated spy in WWII, Aansen plays undercover Special Operations Executive 'Odette' in the WWII drama, The Resistance (2023) (2023), working opposite James Madio (Band of Brothers (2001), 2001). She has also played as a bilingual tech specialist in a sci-fi drama, a nurse scientist in a sci-fi feature film, and a resistance fighter in dystopian drama. She was nominated for Best Actress at WinterFest 2022 for her role as an outspoken student.
Language has defined Aansen's adult life. A trained linguist, Aansen is a polyglot and speaks Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, and can speak in a variety of accents and dialects of English.
