- Aleksandr Yatsenko is a Russian theater and film actor. After school, he entered the institute of radiophysics in his native Volgograd. But he did not study for long and left for Tambov, where he entered the directing and theater department at Tambov State University named after G. Derzhavin, studied with teacher N. Belyakov. He took part in student performances. In 2000-2004 he studied at GITIS, workshop of Mark Zakharov. However, he was expelled from GITIS for fighting just four months before graduation. Since 2004, he began working at the Theater directed by Oleg Tabakov, and was involved in performances. Collaborated with the Center for Drama and Directing under the direction of Aleksey Kazantsev and Mikhail Roshchin.
Yatsenko began acting in films in 2001, making his debut in the film 'The Happiness Service'. The actor's first success came after the role of Borya Kulshan in the film Soldatskiy dekameron (2005) directed by Andrey Proshkin.
