Emma Roberts blocked her mom on Instagram? ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Guess what? Emma Roberts temporarily blocked her mother on Ig—and it was all because Kelly Cunningham accidentally spilled the beans about Roberts’ pregnancy. The actress had plans to keep her pregnancy news under wraps, but her mom’s Ig habits got in the way.
Roberts appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and shared the hilarious and slightly cringe-worthy story about her mom’s social media mishap. “I was keeping my pregnancy pretty low-key, but unfortunately, my mother has Instagram,” she confessed. “Mothers and Instagram, it’s a bad combination.” As you can imagine, things quickly spiraled after Cunningham started interacting with fans online—and, spoiler alert, Roberts was not amused.
Now, let’s rewind. Cunningham, who didn’t own a computer and was rocking a flip phone until Roberts gifted her an iPhone three years ago, was blissfully unaware of...

Why Did Emma Roberts Freeze Her Eggs? ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
When Emma Roberts opened up about her battle with endometriosis, it caught people off guard. The Nancy Drew star had been dealing with brutal cramps for years—so bad she’d miss school and later cancel meetings. “I always had debilitating cramps and periods,” the actress shared with Cosmopolitan. But it wasn’t until her late 20s that she found a doctor who took her seriously and sent her to a specialist. The verdict? Endometriosis. And the consequences? Big ones. By that point, it had already started messing with her fertility.
Emma was given some tough news: “You should probably freeze your eggs or look into other options.” The thought of it terrified her. “Just the thought of going through that and finding out, perhaps, that I wouldn’t be able to have kids… I did freeze my eggs eventually,...

With eight episodes in and one more to go, the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King is yet to live up to the bar set by its predecessor. Even though the first season wasn’t exactly the most critically acclaimed installment in Sheridan’s filmography, far from it, season 2 on the flip side has taken a notable dive on the writing front.

When the Avengers Almost Had a Different Lineup of Actors: The Surprising Story Behind Marvel’s Original Casting Choices! (Photo Credit – Facebook)
Before Chris Evans suited up as Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger, the role of Cap could’ve had a very different face. The casting process for The First Avenger was stacked with a crazy range of actors who almost snagged the part.
In 2010, when Captain America: The First Avenger was being cast, the paycheck was a modest $300k, and the role came with a six-film deal—nothing compared to what Marvel stars command today. But oh, how things could have gone differently. Chris Evans was far from the only one-eyed for the role of skinny Steve, and before Marvel locked him in, some surprising names popped up on the shortlist.
Actors like Sam Worthington (Avatar) and Will Smith were discussed early on, though neither seriously pursued the role.

Despite Tulsa King‘s entertainment value, which has proven to be the next big thing for Paramount in the realm of television after Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone, the show hasn’t been immune to writing mishaps. The shortcomings are more noticeable in the second season, especially with the narrative surrounding Jay Will’s Tyson.

After Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King has been the next big hit for Paramount, which isn’t surprising given the star power of Sylvester Stallone. But while the Stallone-led series has succeeded in rivaling the Western drama’s numbers, tonally, the two couldn’t be more different, as the mob drama doesn’t shy away from touching more absurd territories with its comedy.
However, compared to the first season, there is a noticeable step down in the writing department in the new addition, as certain storylines in the show further add to the idiocracy of its supporting cast.

When asked to name the toughest period of his life, Eric said, “Probably the loss of relationship with my daughter. There’s not a pain, there’s a sadness for the, most likely, misunderstandings [that] I’ll have forever. Because we’re human.”
Eric says he was able to look back at his regrets when he became a grandfather.
“I started accepting that about myself with the birth of my grandchildren,” he said.

Taylor Sheridan’s comedy-drama series Tulsa King presents a unique mixture of comic and crime elements on TV. The Sylvester Stallone starrer showcases the journey of Dwight Manfredi, a former American Mafia caporegime who is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The character undergoes various trials and errors as he works hard to start his criminal empire from scratch at the new location. The show’s setting called for a detail-oriented costume design which introduced viewers to the land. The former showrunner, Terence Winter also included his special wish to see one character dressed up in Austin Powers’ style, which made fans speculate if Sheridan greenlit the decision.
The special focus on costume design and its inspiration
Paramount’s Tulsa King presents its characters in the relatively unexplored backdrop of Oklahoma’s Tulsa. Like Dwight who is played by Sylvester Stallone, most of the audience was also unaware of the place’s charms and aesthetics.

When Tulsa King first burst onto the scene, it offered a fresh take on the crime drama genre, with Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight Manfredi leading a diverse group of characters in a story of reinvention and ambition. Amid this ensemble, Garrett Hedlund’s portrayal of Mitch Keller, a former bull rider turned entrepreneur, brought new depth to the storyline.

In the series, Hedlund’s character doesn’t just work with Dwight to expand his empire, he also embraces new opportunities for personal growth. Behind the scenes, however, there was a “daunting” challenge Hedlund took on, one that required a mix of skill and courage. He faced this head-on, thanks to a special request from none other than Sylvester Stallone himself.

“Tulsa King” faces the same challenge confronting every location-driven TV show: in some way, it must make its setting feel interesting enough to rope in viewers unfamiliar with the place and its culture. Its initial premise does most of the work immediately: New York gangster Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he decides to build a new mob from scratch. Viewers can instantly relate to Manfredi’s fish-out-of-water circumstances — many of them have no concept of Tulsa, making it feel vaguely foreign despite its geographic proximity to American audiences.
“Tulsa King” immerses us in part by trading generic establishing shots of the city’s sparse skyline for gliding glances at the iconic Mayo Hotel and street-level peeks up at Tulsa’s few skyscrapers. Equally crucial to the show’s believability, though, is the way the characters dress. Costume designer Susan McCabe recognizes that, for many viewers,...

Jeff Bridges wasn’t the biggest fan of his appearance in 2010’s Tron: Legacy.
The Oscar-winning actor recently chatted with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where the host asked him what he thought about his image being digitally scanned for the Joseph Kosinski-directed movie.
“It’s the new thing… I got scanned and in the computer for when we did Tron 2 — What was it called? — Legacy,” Bridges said. “I wasn’t particularly fond of that recreation of myself. I thought I looked more like Bill Maher than myself.”
The actor reprised his role as video game designer Kevin Flynn for Tron: Legacy, nearly three decades after the 1982 sci-fi classic Tron. But the sequel, starring Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde, also featured a de-aged version of himself as the character Clu (Codified Likeness Utility).

Garrett Hedlund charms on and off the screen, and in his latest role as Mitch on Tulsa King, he’s no exception.
Mitch, the former rodeo rider and bar owner, brings a grounded yet aspirational energy to the ensemble led by Sylvester Stallone.
Sitting down with Garrett via Zoom, it’s easy to see why his portrayal of Mitch resonates with fans — he approaches the character with warmth and complexity.
(Brian Douglas/Paramount+)
When we asked Garrett why Mitch eagerly teamed up with Dwight, he offered a layered perspective.
“Mitch was getting by… He was living a safe life, paying his dues because of some past mess-ups,” Garrett explains, revealing Mitch’s more vulnerable side.
Yet, Mitch always had an undercurrent of ambition, one waiting for the right spark to ignite it. Enter Dwight Manfredi, Stallone’s larger-than-life mafia capo.

The bees touched down on 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 1, bringing with them a swarm of problems for the first responders protecting the vaunted streets of Los Angeles.
And while the bees were certainly creating havoc, especially for a seemingly always in danger Sargeant.
A lot happened in that first hour, from the aforementioned bees to Bobby’s new job and an exhausting old/new captain at the 118. And these new circumstances warranted a conversation with executive producer and showrunner Tim Minear.
(Disney/Christopher Willard)
The opening episode included the start of the bee-nado, as Buck so affectionately called it, which saw a swarm of bees exploding into the sky after a truck crash had the bees escaping containment.
From there, we saw some bee-related emergencies alongside the beginning of the character arcs set to take off this season.

[Warning: This post contains Major spoilers for Tulsa King Season 2 Episode 2, “Kansas City Blues.”] Tulsa King‘s second episode saw the crew take a big swing at another scheme at what could’ve been a very inopportune time, but it paid off. Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) is in the middle of a court battle for his freedom after the bribery charges, but that doesn’t stop his posse from executing a very risky boost of catalytic converters at a local car dealership. Spearheading the effort was Garrett Hedlund‘s Mitch, who is really coming into his own as one of the more valuable members of the team. After the boost, and a deal to return some of the parts to the rightful owner, Mitch hatches another idea for a business for the group to invest in, which means he’s potentially about to double his importance to the Manfredi crime family. Overall, the episode was really light-hearted,...

I was skeptical about Tulsa King when it came out in 2022. The series seemed like the ultimate dad television show, featuring a weathered ’80s superstar that children’s grandparents talk about. From Rambo to Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, Stallone’s films made over a billion dollars in the ’80s without today’s special effects.
Stallone’s dive into streaming television paid off handsomely. The first season was well received. Tulsa King, created by the minds behind Yellowstone and a former head writer of The Sopranos, does a masterful job of toggling between visceral violence and ominous black comedy.
In short, Tulsa King remains the brass-knuckles-bruising comedy we have come to love despite its considerable flaws.
