Ken Bascue is from Schenectady, NY. He moved to Manhattan in the early '80s after losing his parents in a car accident. His mother was a church soloist and was an inspiration to Ken. In 1983 Ken began training at the Singers Forum in Manhattan. He went on to entertain at the Granit Hotel in the Catskills and in and around NYC. Ken performed on the Margarita Pracatan Show, the Dr. and the Diva, and Manhattan's, Jazz Corner. All through his early years, he was writing songs with hopes of someday recording an album. Recently, Ken's dear friend Kimberley Locke (of American Idol fame) gave Ken studio time to begin recording again, she also featured him singing a duet with her on the Dr. and the Diva. Ken started a collaboration with producer Jon Cobert for the album project at Raw Recording studio and released his debut album, Make A Difference! At 64, Ken is following his dreams and encourages others to follow theirs at any age so there are no regrets... life is short!
