Martijn Krabbé

Martijn was born and raised in Amsterdam. He started his career as a DJ
at Radio Acapulco, an Amsterdam based pirate radio station. His first
show got in the air on May 28th 1982.
He continued his radio career at the Dutch national station TROS, where he also began his television career by presenting "Popformule", followed by "Ministars", "Powerplay" and "Dat zeg ik niet". Since 1995 Martijn is working for RTL 4, the biggest commercial TV-station in Holland.
Other TV-programs followed quickly, including his own talk show "Krabbé", the "Postcode Loterij Recordshow" and the fourth edition of John de Mol's "Big Brother". He was a co-presentator of "Aktua in bedrijf" and presented "Kiezen of delen".
Since January 1999 Martijn Krabbé is presentating major blockbuster programs like "In Holland staat een huis" and "In Holland ligt een tuin", dating show "De Perfecte Partner".
Nevertheless, Martijn never forgot his old love the radio work during the years. He presented some charts like "De nationale top 100", "De Mega Top 50" and " Dance Trax". Other programs were "Nachtwacht" and "Wereldhits". Since may 2004 is his own show on "Noordzee FM".
In his personal life Martijn Krabbe has had some ups and downs. His marriage with Amanda Beekman, with the birth in 2001 of their son Bickel, came to an end. But they reunited without remarrying and on september 23th 2004 their second child, a girl named Michelle, was born.
