Hey creeps. Ya know what ol’ Xiii really digs? Why… yeah, I guess you’re right, I do enjoy a good brioche… so much rich and tender texture, so bready…so… Dammit, you know that’s not what I was thinking about! Of course I was referring to my ne’er ending love of all things “monster”. So you can only imagine my delight upon hearing that there was a new monster mash headin’ our way entitled Frankenstein Vs. The Mummy! While I will be turning my outré eye upon the film soon, I thought I’d chat up the films die-rector, diabolical Damien Leone!

Famous Monsters. Hey Damien, how in the hell did you come to work on a flick with a rad-ass concept like Frankenstein Vs. The Mummy?

Damien Leone. I was approached by producer Jesse Baget about doing the makeup effects on a project he had in development called “Frankenstein vs.

Amnesiac Distribution and Release Details: “Amnesiac tells the story of a man (Wes Bentley) who wakes up in bed suffering from memory loss after being in an accident, only to begin to suspect that his wife (Kate Bosworth) may not be his real wife. The web of lies and deceit deepen inside the house where he soon finds himself a prisoner.

XLrator Media has acquired North American distribution rights to the psychological thriller Amnesiac starring Kate Bosworth (Still Alice, Superman Returns) and Wes Bentley (The Hunger Games series, Interstellar). XLrator Media will release the film in Summer 2015 on its acclaimed “Macabre” genre label.

Image Entertainment, an Rlj Entertainment brand, announces the DVD and digital download release of the supernatural horror film Frankenstein vs. The Mummy.

Omni Media Arts and Ruthless Pictures have developed and completed a horror feature, titled Day of the Mummy. This title has been picked up by Rlj Entertainment for release on DVD (December 9th, 2014). The film is set in Egypt. Here, several archaeologists hope to track down The Codex Stone. Day of the Mummy stars Danny Glover (Saw), William McNamara (Copycat) and Andrea Monier. A trailer and the DVD artwork is hosted here. King Neferu (Brandon DeSpain) still roams his ancient tomb. With All Hallows’ Eve headed to DVD and digital services next week, we caught up with director Damien Leone for our latest Q&A feature. He tells us about his first work with Art the Clown, how it evolved into All Hallows’ Eve and what’s next:

Thank you for taking the time to talk with us. Before All Hallows’ Eve, Art the Clown appeared in a couple of short films you directed. Can you tell our readers about those films and the creation of Art?

Thanks for the interview! I never intended for Art to become a lead villain. He first appeared in my 2007 short film, The 9th Circle, where he abducts a woman in a train station and delivers her over to a satanic cult. He only has about four minutes of screen time but the scene was so effective I knew we’d only scratched the surface.
