- Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he is the son of opera singers Louis Langelier and Johanne Desrosiers. Growing up in this artistic environment, he developed a passion for visual arts, eventually studying at UQAM University. A morbid visual artist from a young age, he was easily drawn to metal due to its macabre imagery, and extreme vocals became his ultimate act of rebellion against his parents' musical background.
He began his metal career in 2001 with a demo project called Damocles and his first band, Disorganic. He gained more recognition with his appearance on Canadian Idol in 2008, where he carried the torch for metal in the pop scene by performing his own version of a Dimmu Borgir song. This opened doors for him in the metal scene, first as the frontman for Oxidized Faith, and later as a host and judge for a band competition called Metal academy.
With the band Bookakee, he made his mark with his extremely diverse vocal range and penchant for theatricality. This led him to join the Growler Choir and be recruited by Sébastien Croteau to provide creature voices for video games.
In addition to his roles in titles like Soul and Blade, he has also lent his voice to several other popular games, including Dead by Daylight, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Genshin Impact, Meet Your Maker, and Hellblade II. His contributions in these projects highlight his versatility and skill as a voice actor in the gaming industry.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Philippe Langelier
