Hollywood Squares officially returns in January and will bring a star-studded lineup of guests to entertain viewers and, hopefully, help out contestants.
The popular game show is a variation of tic-tac-toe and features celebrities called upon to help contestants answer questions for an “X” or “O” in their square.
Among those seated in the squares are talk show host Drew Barrymore and The Price Is Right host Drew Carey.
While CBS Mornings star and former NFL player Nate Burleson hosts the returning game show, Barrymore will be the center square throughout the episodes.
And it seems nobody is safe from receiving comedic jabs from various individuals around them.
In a hilarious new teaser for the show, Barrymore and Carey get roasted by fellow celebrity guests.

Bluesky has quickly emerged as the social media platform of choice for those defecting from X (formerly Twitter) in the weeks following the U.S. Presidential election which saw former president Donald J. Trump declared President-elect Trump, soon to become the 47th president of the United States, and a change in X’s terms of service that went into effect on Friday, November 15, which allows the service to analyze text and other information provided by users to help in the “training of our machine learning and artificial intelligence models.”

A trickle is becoming a flood for Bluesky, the social media company that has seen spectacular growth since the presidential election. On Tuesday, the microblogging platform hit 20 million users, after averaging 1 million new users per day over the past five days.
According to a Nov. 13 post by Bluesky CEO Jay Graber, the site had 6 million users in late August, nearly 11 million in late October and hit 15 million users on Nov. 15. Call it a blue wave. A host of actors, directors, musicians, journalists and other prominent people are dumping X (formerly Twitter) and flocking to social media platform Bluesky.
In the past week, an increasing number of bold-faced names have announced that they plan to post less on X, or leave the platform altogether, citing myriad issues with the social media company, including far right content, hate speech, transphobia, racism, harassment, pornography, crypto scams, bots and the political views of owner Elon Musk, the billionaire oligarch who is a vocal supporter and financial backer of Donald Trump.
Musk’s ownership of X and his updates to content moderation on the platform have been pushing brands and media groups closer and closer to the exit. This week, The Guardian media group announced that it will stop posting on X, describing the site as a “toxic media platform.” On Nov. 4, the Berlin Film...

Spoiler Alert: Details follow for Season 12, Episode 7 of “The Masked Singer,” “Who Are You Fest Night,” which aired November 13 on Fox.
It may have been a wipeout, but surfer Bethany Hamilton told Variety that she still enjoyed her brief appearance on “The Masked Singer.” Hamilton was the latest celebrity to be unmasked, revealed to be the star under the Macaron costume as the show’s Group C competition got underway on Wednesday’s episode.
“I wanted to originally do ‘The Masked Singer’ just because I thought it would be fun,” Hamilton said. “I sing to my children every day and thought maybe I’d get better at singing. And it’s also an opportunity to encourage people, and that’s what my life is all about.”
Among the show’s panelists, Rita Ora got it right, naming Bethany Hamilton — and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg agreed. Ken Jeong though it was Gypsy Rose Blanchard.

Donald Trump won fair and square against Kamala Harris in the U.S. Presidential election. Trump was one controversial figure long before the election, which caused many people to have a dislike towards the President-elect. Interestingly, many from the film and music industry did not take it well that people voted Trump back to power.

Republican Donald Trump has been re-elected President of the United States of America, and most of Hollywood is sad and angry. Outspoken liberal celebrities are reacting with bitter disappointment following Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ loss.
As the results came in Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning, actor John Cusack wrote on X that “the fact that the country would choose to destroy itself by voting in a convicted felon rapist and Nazi is a sign of deep nihilism, to put it mildly.”
“Don’t Look Up” director Adam McKay blamed centrist Democrats who stuck with President Joe Biden and his policies until it was too late and failed to counter Trump’s message of economic populism.
“Who would have guessed lying about Biden’s cognitive health for 2 yrs, refusing to do an open convention for a new nominee, never mentioning public healthcare & embracing fracking, the Cheneys & a yr long slaughter...

Although Donald Glover‘s return to Community for the upcoming movie is reason enough to celebrate, many fans are curious about the fate of another recurring character.

This week’s Frasier delivered a surprisingly satisfying party episode, managing to sidestep some of the usual sitcom tropes. After a shaky start and a sprinkling of red herrings, Frasier Season 2 Episode 7 tied up its deceptively loose ends to become a memorable party episode.
Olivia’s sister Monica may have visited for the annual Harvard-Yale game, but her actual favorite sport was one-upping her younger sibling.
I hoped the episode’s focus on Olivia would give her some much-needed character development. While that didn’t exactly happen, her nimble participation in this festive farce was reward enough for now.
(Chris Haston/Paramount+)
Alan and Freddy did the heavy lifting of setting the episode’s events into motion, which freed Frasier to do what he does best in these situations: facilitate and react.
Meanwhile, Yvette Nicole Brown needed a toothpick for all the scenery she chewed, but it sure was fun to watch her turn the character of Monica up to eleven.

It might not be the "Frasier" of old, but Kelsey Grammer's Paramount+ revival of the beloved sitcom is a comforting thing to have around in 2024. The show was never going to match its predecessor, which belongs to a golden age of '90s sitcoms, but if Grammer and new showrunners Joe Cristali and Chris Harris could manage to conjure even an iota of that "Frasier" charm, their reboot was always going to make for a watchable show.
Now, midway through season 2, it's fair to say that streaming age "Frasier" has proven it has something, even if we're still not sure what that something is. The series feels strikingly anachronistic just by virtue of the sitcom format and its laugh track and soundstage sets. But it's also strangely comforting in its familiarity. Grammer is just as delightfully engaging as he ever was in the lead role, and the prospect of...

Anyone feeling ‘sus’ about the upcoming Among Us series adaptation can rest assured the show will feature all of the game’s fun and gore.
That’s according to Owen Dennis, who is creating and exec producing the popular mobile game’s transfer to TV screens. He lifted the lid on the project in an interview ahead of his session at Italy’s Mia Market today. Deadline is moderating the talk, which takes place at the Cinema Barberini in Rome.
Per the logline, the series is based on the game’s premise: “Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor’ or fall victim to its murderous designs.”
A splashy cast includes Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey), Liv Hewson (Yellowjackets), Kimiko Glenn (Orange Is The New Black), Randall Park, Ashley Johnson, Yvette Nicole Brown and Elijah Wood.

You’re in luck, Dawson. Revealed on Wednesday night’s edition of “The Masked Singer” were two eliminated celebrities: Singer Paula Cole, whose hits include “I Don’t Want to Wait” (used famously as the theme song for “Dawson’s Creek”), as well as “Black-ish” star Marsai Martin.
Cole was revealed to be the star under the Ship costume, while Martin was singing under the guise of the Woodpecker.
Panelist Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg figured out the Ship was Paula Cole. Ken Jeong though it was Alanis Morissette. Robin Thicke named Amy Lee from Evanescence. Rita Ora said it was Sarah McLachlan.
“I did not know about the show,” Cole told Variety.

The college world is a strange place where people from wildly different generations and walks of life can form quasi-familial groups before going their separate ways, never to meet again. It's only with hindsight that you realize just how unusual the experience is, at least if you came into it as an 18-year-old suddenly thrust into the swimming pool that is adulthood and desperate to keep your head above the water. Dan Harmon's "Community" isn't the most realistic comedy show about college on the surface -- in fact, the further along it went, the more untethered and cartoonish it became -- but it is one of the most honest ones. It knows what it feels like to be in that world, and its potpourri of loving pop culture parodies, satirical jabs at community college politics, and earnest character work served to capture the experience of aspiring to mature as...

You… you… you… oughta know-ow that Ken Jeong has absolutely no idea what he’s talking about in this exclusive clip from tonight’s episode of The Masked Singer (Fox, 8/7c).
Despite correctly guessing the first two unmasked contestants of Season 12, Jeong is way off in his prediction for the Ship. Describing her as one of his “leading ladies,” Jeong confidently declares that the celebrity beneath the costume is none other than Alanis Morissette.

What can we say about Chevy Chase on his 81st birthday that we haven’t already said before?
Here’s the good news: We don’t have to say it. After decades of burning down every bridge in sight, it was no problem to find 81 burns to light the candles on his cake. Below is a birthday portrait of the man of the hour, courtesy of the co-workers, directors and other unfortunates who’ve worked with Chase over the years.
1 Will Ferrell
“The worst (SNL) host was Chevy Chase.”
(Live From New York: The Complete Uncensored History of Saturday Night Live)
2 Buck Henry
“I thought Chevy shouldn’t have left (SNL). I thought it was really stupid.”
(Live From New York: The Complete Uncensored History of Saturday Night Live)
3 John Carpenter 4 Director Kevin Smith
“Chevy went on to claim he invented every funny thing that ever happened in the history of not just comedy,...

Believe me fellow Community fans. I know it feels like this movie is never going to happen. But it is, it's just taking a while. And look, I'm more than eager to see it. Though I'd rather the writers of Community: The Movie take their sweet time to make a comedic gem than feel rushed. Patience is a virtue, my friends. There's still some more waiting to do, as Shirley actress Yvette Nicole Brown has provided an update about the film.
In speaking with TheWrap, the star revealed that the movie which will be streaming on Peacock is still "going to happen." Though there might be slightly further delays because the script is "being reworked" for Shirley's character, per the news outlet. Initially, Brown wasn't going to be a part of the film. Though now that she is attached, the writers have had to change the script up to...
