Biography

Ray is a director who focuses on films that makes people a little happier than they were when they walked into see his films. He wants to focus on normalizing LGBTQ+ stories and move past the coming out and trauma based stories. In 2023, Ray Taylor was mentored by Jim Bissell and Susan Benjamin as a part of The Academy Gold Rising Program Production Track for production design. He used his past experience and love for the art department as the Property Master for the short film "Estelle."
