- Jeff Whitehead began writing when he was six years old, completing his first novel at 18. Throughout his 20s and early 30s, Jeff built a career as the Director of Study Abroad at the University of Pittsburgh. He visited more than 30 countries to educate college students, collecting stories of the macabre along the way. He returned to writing after the birth of his first son, jotting down the stories he gathered throughout his travels during sleepless nights. These stories have framed his television and feature scripts. Options on his work have led to opportunities to function as a producer and executive producer on numerous projects. Jeff creates smart, socially conscious horror in the ethos of luminaries such as George A. Romero, David Cronenberg, and Jordan Peele. He believes that horror should be more than violence and gore. Instead, truly magical horror pieces use these elements to make us question what we believe, how we treat others, and how we react to the more terrifying aspects of the world around us.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Jeff Whitehead
