Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which features 8 matches on the card this week (thankfully; I do love a shorter show)… On with the review!
Match #1: Sky Blue def. Paris Van Dale
My Thoughts: Paris Van Dale is back again to get squashed by a signed Aew talent! I jest but Van Dale at least got more of a chance to show off her skills in this match than against Tay Melo. Sky Blue once again delivered a solid performance and the growth in her skills is very apparent every time she wrestles. As is the case here. A solid start to the show.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: The Iron Savages def. Brando Lee & Lucas Chase
My Thoughts: I still can’t get behind the change to The Iron Savages… Give me Bear Country any day. It’s a shame the duo haven’t hit the highs they had before injury,...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, we’ve got Paul Wight, Mark Henry, Tony Schiavone And Anthony Ogogo on commentary (4 people! 4!) and another short and sweet 6-match card, so let’s get right into the action!
Match #1: Bear Bronson def. Brandon Cutler
My Thoughts: This was the usual Brandon Cutler match. A squash but one that saw Cutler up to his usual antics and comedy wrestling style. Unfortunately for Cutler Bear Bronson took this one a bit more seriously and got the quick win.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Brody King def. Alex Reynolds
My Thoughts: Another quick squash match for Elevation as Brodie King. Well it wasn’t a Total squash, with Reynolds at least getting some good offence in against the more powerful Brody King. And it was power that won the day here.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Anna Jay and Yuka Sakazaki def.

Welcome to the first of this weeks Aew reviews, Aew Dark: Elevation, which kicks off the wrestling week for us here at Nerdly. As always I’m editor Phil and let’s get straight into the review!
Match #1: Tay Jay (Tay Conti and Anna Jay) vs. Willow Nightingale and Erica Leigh
My Thoughts: Nice to see Willow Nightingale back on Aew programming, hopefully she gets a chance at more appearances in Aew. In terms of this match this was all Tay Conti, who took it to Erica Leigh and then pump-kicked the hell out of Nightingale before hitting the Dd-Tay for the win.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Tony Nese def. Logan Laroux
My Thoughts: This was one of Aew’s quasi-squash matches; one that let local wrestler Logan Laroux get in some decent offence against Tony Nese – and the hometown crowd were certainly behind Laroux; but that...

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, I’m Phil and this is episode 19 of Aew’s second YouTube show… already?!
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Zachariah
My Thoughts: The usual lance Archer squash match opens the show. Archer throws his opponent in the ring, then around the ring, then gets the pin.
My Score: 0 out of 5 Match #2: Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy def. Chaos Project (Luther and Serpentico)
My Thoughts: A ridiculously fun match that took absolutely nothing seriously and felt remarkably refreshing for that very fact. Serpentico took his usual punishment 0 not only being thrown around by Kuther but also Chuck Taylor! Loved the finish with Luther accidentally pinning his own partner and Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy cashing in on it!
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #3: Hikaru Shida def. Dulce Tormenta
My Thoughts: What a way to make your Aew debut, against former champ Hikaru Shida.
