Ark Saravanan, the writer and director of the Tamil fantasy-action streaming film, ‘Veeran’, has said that the film touches upon the fine line between superstition and faith. ‘Veeran’ stars Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, Chella, Munishkanth, Vinay Rai, Athira Raj, Kaali Venkat, and Sassi Selvaraj in pivotal roles.

It follows the story of Kumara, a young boy from Veeranur village, who on a fateful day, is struck by lightning that puts him in a coma. Seeking better treatment for Kumara, his father decides to send him abroad.

But years later, upon his return, Kumara realises that he has gained superpowers which he must now hone to protect his village from an evil corporation and their menacing technology that could endanger innocent lives. KollywoodThe film titled ‘Veeran’, produced by Tg Thyagarajan’s Sathya Jyothi Films, marks the third collaboration between Adhi and the production house. After playing a dual role in Anbarivu (2022), Hip Hop Tamizha fame Adhi is gearing up for the release of his next – a superhero film titled Veeran. Ark Saravan, who made his directorial debut in 2017 with Maragadha Naanayam, has written and directed the film which will hit theatres on June 2. The film’s teaser, which was released on May 20, garnered over 6.7 million views and trended at number one on Youtube. Veeran, produced by Tg Thyagarajan’s Sathya Jyothi Films, marks the third collaboration between Adhi and the production house. Sathya Jyothi Films has previously produced two of Adhi’s films – Anbarivu (2022) and Sivakumarin Sabadham (2021).
