Christopher Sammut is a Maltese filmmaker and photographer, born on January 16, 1976. He discovered his passion for the visual arts at the age of 17, and was mentored by professional photographer Kevin Casha. Christopher began his career as a photographer, specializing in black and white architectural photography. However, differences in ideas led him to leave the Malta Institute of Professional Photography and photography altogether.
In October 2020, Christopher stumbled upon the short film directed by Aiden Robbins, which reignited his passion for filmmaking. He dove into the world of videography and quickly established himself as a talented filmmaker. Christopher's debut film "First Light" premiered at several international film festivals and won several awards for its unique storytelling and stunning cinematography. He continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling and is becoming a respected name in the film industry.
