Phoenix Melville is a British-French director, writer and artist.
His films mix the elements of fantasy and realism focused on exploring the metaphysical, human nature, consciousness and beauty, to create an ideal reality or offer relevance to ordinary situations.
He grew up and lived with his Mother Philomena in several countries such as England, Germany, France Israel and Ukraine. His Father died few months after his birth in 1993 while reporting about the Bosnia conflict. Phoenix speaks six languages fluent. He studied the middle east, photography and world literature. Worked for a few years as assistant director for haute couture advertising, during the period designer Karl Lagerfeld called him the personification of the golden ratio
