Larry Krask
- Actor
- Second Unit Director or Assistant Director
- Producer
Larry was born in Chicago and raised in the Northwest suburbs where a strong work ethic and
perseverance developed. Larry didn't start acting until later in life while running a night club. He was
asked to be the evil villain, DK, in a children's production of Tommy Tooth. Being booed on stage by the
kids was all inspiration needed to follow the acting path. After time spent acting in local markets, Larry's
wife, Cecilia, told him to go to LA. For two years Larry commuted from Phoenix to Los Angeles until they
were together again in LA. Larry's time in LA enabled him to appear on numerous soap operas, a sitcom,
and in two major films.
While auditioning, and between roles Larry became involved in the independent Film Market, not just as
an actor, but also learning many aspects of being behind the camera as well. Larry fell into being a
self- taught first AD and worked with the Make A Film Foundation making films for critically ill children.
Donating his time alongside big name actors and directors fulfilling children's wishes to bring their
scripts to life.
To date Larry still is going on auditions and is running his restaurant, the '49er Saloon, with his wife Cecilia
as he pursues his dream. As an Executive Producer for the film Switch Up, as well as starring as FBI Agent
Macintire, Larry will be at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin Texas for the premiere.
Also upcoming is Larry's role as Chuck in the independent film 6 Days in Evergreen. He continues to
work on forthcoming projects.
