Joanna Arida, born on February 26th, is a Jordanian filmmaker, actress, and architect. She has lived in Germany, Jordan, the UAE, and Austria, and is fluent in Arabic, English, and German. She embarked on her career while studying Architecture, achieving acclaim for her breakthrough role in Netflix's "AlRawabi School for Girls" in 2021. The series became one of Netflix's most successful Middle Eastern shows, with Season 2 released in early 2024. Notable collaborations include renowned brands such as Louis Vuitton, MAC Cosmetics, and Charlotte Tilbury. In 2022, Joanna's global impact was showcased as she signed her first Global Campaign with MAC Cosmetics and joined the #ThisIsNotNormal campaign with UNFPA to combat gender-based violence.
