Alyse Kane Riley has always been inspired to champion stories of flawed characters + diverse faces, often writing on female family issues that will break your heart then help you to your feet again. She has directed and produced upwards of 60 projects spanning in television, film, commercial and music video, while writing and developing a series ("Meadow" 2023).
AKR was recently nominated as "Top Emerging Filmmaker" by Lonely Wolf International Film Festival. Her directorial credits include: Revlon, Star Wars, Lucasfilm LTD., Hypebeast, MTV, BET, VEVO, REVOLT + more, holding a well-versed understanding of production from all aspects.
She has lectured at The Next Generation of Filmmakers panel at Paramount Studios, hosted by FilmTools and LaCie, as well as for the University of North Texas and the University of Miami film programs.
Her film, Come As You Are, a short biopic on Nirvana front-man Kurt Cobain, centers on mental health and addiction and is a 12x award winner in the film festival circuit (2021-22) and her most recent short, Footprints in the Dirt, is gaining traction on this year's festival circuit set to premiere in July.
