Cynthia, who is playing Elphaba in the Wicked movie, is serving as host of the annual fashion event.

Twice’s Dahyun has officially made her runway debut.

The 26-year-old K-pop star, a member of the global sensation Twice, walked in Michael Kors’ Spring Summer 2025 runway show on Tuesday during New York Fashion Week. The singer and rapper is a global ambassador for the brand.

Before the show began, Michael Kors posted on social media: “Keep an eye out for an extra special guest in today’s runway lineup,” appearing to tease Dahyun’s surprise debut. The brand later posted announcing the singer’s appearance.

Coverage of the Summer Games averaged 30.7 million linear and streaming viewers across Paris Prime and U.S. primetime hours, soaring above the 16.9 million viewers brought in by the 2021 Tokyo Games and the 2016 Rio Olympics, which averaged 26.8 million in U.S. primetime. From the Opening Ceremony, which kicked off the Games strong with 28.6 million viewers, the 2024 Olympics began trending higher than the Tokyo audience, with the Paris opener seeing a 60% uptick from its 2021 equivalent.

U.S. gymnast Jordan Chiles may have to return the bronze medal she won at the 2024 Paris Olympics after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) ruled in favor of an appeal filed by the Romanian gymnastics team.

During the women’s floor exercise final on Monday, Aug. 5, Chiles initially earned a score of 13.666, which placed her fifth, right behind Romania’s Ana Barbosu and Sabrina Maneca-Voinea. The two Romanian gymnasts finished with matching scores of 13.700; Barbosu thought she had secured the bronze via a tiebreaker — a higher execution score.

However, Team USA gymnastics coach Cecile Canqueteau-Landi filed an on-floor appeal, arguing that Chiles’ score was incorrect due to the routine’s level of difficulty. The judges agreed and adjusted Chiles’ score by 0.1, which was enough to surpass Barbosu and Maneca-Voinea.

It’s safe to say that streaming the Olympics has been successful for NBCUniversal. As of 1 p.m. Et Tuesday, streaming viewership for Paris 2024 officially surpassed streaming for all prior Olympics combined. The event clocked in at 17 billion minutes, a total that was primarily led by Peacock.

For comparison’s sake, 16.8 billion minutes in total were watched for the previous Summer and Winter Games. Those games accounted for 4.48 billion minutes on streaming. Peacock, which offers every sport and event for all 329 medal events, has undoubtably spearheaded this large number, though the total of streaming minutes also includes key NBCU digital platforms.

This success hasn’t just been limited to streaming. On linear, the NBC broadcast of the games has continued to rank No. 1 among Adults 18-49. That has been...

Dancing With The Stars Season 33 Could Feature Many Athletes

So far, no contestants have been confirmed for DWTS Season 33. However, many fans strongly believe Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce will compete.

But he’s not the only athlete fans have on their wish list.

Sunday saw the second biggest U.S. audience of the Paris Olympics so far with more than 35M viewers tuning in across NBC, Peacock and other platforms.

That’s more than double the comparable Sunday audience for the Tokyo Games (17.4M cross-platform viewers), headlined by medal-worthy performances from Noah Lyles, Suni Lee, and Bobby Finke.

Sunday’s coverage was streamed by 4.5M viewers on Peacock and NBCU digital platforms alone, according to the company.

This year’s Olympics couldn’t be going any better for NBCU, as the Summer Games have been raking in huge audiences daily. Beginning with the opening ceremony, the 10-day total audience delivery is around 33M viewers across the combined live Paris Prime (2-5 p.m. Et) and U.S. primetime (8-11 p.m. Et/Pt) time periods. That’s an 80% uptick from Tokyo.

Comcast’s presentation of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games on NBC and Peacock grabbed nearly 32 million viewers to those platforms on Thursday, according to Nielsen ratings.

The network and Peacock posted a total audience delivery of 31.7 million viewers, with its coverage highlighted by medal-winning performances by Simone Biles and Suni Lee of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team, which streamed live and aired in prime-time on NBC.

Olympics coverage on Peacock was streamed by 4.4 million viewers, Comcast said, citing data from Adobe Analytics.

Starting with the Opening Ceremony last Friday, NBC has seen around 33 million viewers tune in each day on average. Peacock has logged 10 billion streaming minutes, the highest amount of usage across all Olympic Games streamed on the platform and the NBC Sports app. NBC began offering live streams of Olympic events in 2012.

One of the most anticipated and hyped events of the Games of the Xxxiii Olympiad and shown live this morning on NBC and Peacock, the intense competition at the Bercy Arena in the City of Light’s 12th District drew a high-profile crowd.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were in attendance, cheering on the American quartet. Equally passionate for the team in the arena were Spike Lee, Natalie Portman and Serena Williams. NBC’s Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie also were pumping their fists in excitement from the stands as Team USA topped rivals on the balance beam, uneven bars, vault and floor exercise — Biles’ best event — in the competition.

Team USA gymnast Simone Biles aggravated a lower left leg injury Sunday while warming up for her floor exercise during Team USA’s second rotation.

Biles could be heard saying it hurts to push off and left the arena floor at one point, but stayed in the competition with a heavily taped calf. But she clearly struggled. She had a significant misstep on her floor routine, then needed a big step backward to land her signature Yurchenko double pike on the vault.

Cecile Landi, her coach, told reporters that Biles has been dealing with calf pain for a couple weeks before Paris, and that it flared up again during Sunday’s competition.

Still, she exited the qualification round with a huge lead in the all-around standings.

Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers and Curry of NBA champions Golden State Warriors will vie for best athlete in men’s sports at the July 20 ceremony, alongside Shohei Ohtani of Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Angels and Connor McDavid of the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers.
