Competing on 12 seasons of Dancing With The Stars and failing to emerge victorious time and time again, it is fair to say that longtime pro Sasha Farber knows elimination like the back of his hand. Poor guy!
For those who are unfamiliar, Sasha made his Dancing With The Stars debut on the Australian version of the show, crossing over to the American version of the show during Season 14. He was initially a troupe member, eventually being promoted to a pro during Season 17.
Partnered with athletes like Simone Biles and Suni Lee, actresses like Selma Blair and Alyson Hannigan, reality television personalities like Snooki and Jenn Tran, and more in the past, Sasha has yet to take home a Mirrorball Trophy of his own (as mentioned) — and he recently sat down with podcaster Joe Vulpis to discuss what every Dancing With The Stars pro dreads: getting eliminated.

A Family Outing at the 2024 Olympics
On August 4, Mendes and Gosling, accompanied by their daughters Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 8, attended the women’s gymnastics uneven bars final at Paris’ Bercy Arena.
Despite her usual discomfort with photographers, Mendes expressed her gratitude for the respect shown to her family’s privacy during the event, particularly as Suni Lee secured a bronze medal.

U.S. gymnast Jordan Chiles may have to return the bronze medal she won at the 2024 Paris Olympics after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) ruled in favor of an appeal filed by the Romanian gymnastics team.
During the women’s floor exercise final on Monday, Aug. 5, Chiles initially earned a score of 13.666, which placed her fifth, right behind Romania’s Ana Barbosu and Sabrina Maneca-Voinea. The two Romanian gymnasts finished with matching scores of 13.700; Barbosu thought she had secured the bronze via a tiebreaker — a higher execution score.
However, Team USA gymnastics coach Cecile Canqueteau-Landi filed an on-floor appeal, arguing that Chiles’ score was incorrect due to the routine’s level of difficulty. The judges agreed and adjusted Chiles’ score by 0.1, which was enough to surpass Barbosu and Maneca-Voinea.

It’s safe to say that streaming the Olympics has been successful for NBCUniversal. As of 1 p.m. Et Tuesday, streaming viewership for Paris 2024 officially surpassed streaming for all prior Olympics combined. The event clocked in at 17 billion minutes, a total that was primarily led by Peacock.
For comparison’s sake, 16.8 billion minutes in total were watched for the previous Summer and Winter Games. Those games accounted for 4.48 billion minutes on streaming. Peacock, which offers every sport and event for all 329 medal events, has undoubtably spearheaded this large number, though the total of streaming minutes also includes key NBCU digital platforms.

As soon as they leave Paris, some may head straight for Los Angeles to begin rehearsals.
Many former Olympians have had incredibly successful runs on Dancing With The Stars so far. Medal-winning gymnasts Suni Lee and Simone Biles have both competed in the past.
But which athletes could appear on Season 33 this fall?

At the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles captured the one thing greater than gold — she seemingly reclaimed her joy.
Biles was already the greatest gymnast — male or female — in history, with seven Olympic medals (four gold) and 30 World Championship medals. But, at the Paris Olympics, she had another goal: to compete on her terms and enjoy every moment.
And enjoy it she did — when it was announced early Tuesday that women of Team USA gymnastics were golden again, Biles quite literally jumped for joy. Then, she streamed through the arena carrying a giant American flag so she and her teammates Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee and Hezly Rivera could pose for photographers. (The team win pushed Biles past Shannon Miller to claim the crown as the most decorated U.S. Olympic gymnast of all time.)
“We’re super excited,” Biles told Olympics broadcasters, speaking on behalf of the team just after the medal ceremony.

Simone Biles just helped Team USA win a gold medal in the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. Thanks to her return and success, Simone’s mother, Nellie Biles, has gotten some TV time lately. At the Opening Ceremony, Nellie was on NBC talking about her daughter, and she had a surprising bit of news for Snoop Dogg.
Here is what Nellie Biles said to Snoop Dogg about snubbing her daughter.
Simone Biles’ Mother Shades Snoop Dogg
Simone Biles’ mother, Nellie, was at the Opening Ceremony, and she got some TV time on NBC, which is airing much of the Olympics this year. Hoda Kotb of Today and Snoop Dogg were also appearing on the show. Things got awkward when Nellie looked at Snoop and said he had met Simone years before and probably didn’t even remember.

Team USA gymnast Simone Biles aggravated a lower left leg injury Sunday while warming up for her floor exercise during Team USA’s second rotation.
Biles could be heard saying it hurts to push off and left the arena floor at one point, but stayed in the competition with a heavily taped calf. But she clearly struggled. She had a significant misstep on her floor routine, then needed a big step backward to land her signature Yurchenko double pike on the vault.
Cecile Landi, her coach, told reporters that Biles has been dealing with calf pain for a couple weeks before Paris, and that it flared up again during Sunday’s competition.
Still, she exited the qualification round with a huge lead in the all-around standings.

Suni Lee is speaking out about her new relationship after going public with boyfriend Jaylin Smith over the holidays. On Dec. 26, the Olympic gold medalist - who's currently a freshman at Auburn University - posted two photos looking blissfully happy with her boyfriend, along with a caption of a single white heart emoji. However, shortly after posting on social media, some people online took issue with the relationship - specifically people in the Hmong American community.
According to a comment left by Suni under a TikTok video, the young gymnast suggested that some people have been sending her hate comments for choosing to date a Black man. It wasn’t just a rough night but a rough week for Suni Lee on “Dancing with the Stars.” The Olympic gold medalist fell ill last week with a stomach bug that curtailed rehearsals and culminated with her immediately running off the stage following her and Sasha Farber‘s individual dance on Monday.
“I think it was probably the hardest week I’ve ever had on ‘Dancing with the Stars,” Farber told “Us Weekly after the show.” “It was so stressful. The poor girl started to feel really sick on Tuesday and then it got worse and worse. We had to miss rehearsals. Today was actually the first time she did the relay because she couldn’t do it last night [for camera blocking]. I danced with a mannequin. I thought it was really funny. … Every dance that we did, she didn’t get through three passes. We usually have three passes yesterday,...

As if we didn't already feel wildly inferior to the athletic prowess of our favorite Olympians, they're also continuing to prove their fashion mettle as well. During the 2021 Met Gala, which took place on Monday, Sept. 13, a number of Olympic athletes—some who competed during the 2020 Tokyo Games, and others who participated in years' past—looked right at home on the red carpet. The USA silver medal-winning women's gymnastics team from 2020 was well-represented, as Simone Biles and Sunisa Lee attended the Met Gala. Both women won individual medals in Tokyo, as Simone took home the bronze in the balance beam, while Sunisa, who is set to compete on Dancing With the Stars...
