Latina/Australian actor Andie Rose is a dynamic storyteller whose passion for performing began as a two-year-old when she commanded the attention of crowds at a performing arts festival with an impromptu public performance of her first 2-minute monologue. It was a natural progression for Andie Rose to combine her outgoing personality with her love of the performing arts and since then, with a multitude of training in all areas of the performing arts, has developed into a highly intelligent and intuitive young artist. With a unique blend of quick-witted intelligence, natural comic timing, and a deep understanding of diversity in character, Andie Rose is set to charm audiences around the world.
Andie Rose is dedicated to learning her father's native language Spanish after spending her early years living abroad predominantly in Chile, Patagonia and later in Southeast Asia. At 7, she returned with her family to Australia where she had the opportunity to focus on her love of performing. Andie Rose's career took off at the age of 8 when she was cast as a young Velma Dinkley in a multinational TV commercial for Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow. Since then, she has graced television screens, starred in multiple TV commercials and appeared in numerous short films and feature films in Australia. Her multifaceted capabilities have earned her a well-deserved reputation for professionalism and she is soon to take her career to the international stage. Throughout her career, Andie Rose has had the pleasure of working on various theatre and musical theatre productions and her dedication to her craft earned her a scholarship to train with The Queensland Theatre Company when she was just 12 years old, making her the youngest recipient. It was also at 12 years old that she assistant directed her first short film and children's theatre production and in 2024 will finish writing and filming the proof of concept for her first feature film, alongside her first theatrical play.
Outside of her artistic pursuits, Andie Rose is deeply passionate about promoting positive mental health and well-being among girls and in 2024 she will launch her podcast on this subject. In her spare time, she dedicates herself to learning sign language, enjoys singing show tunes in the shower, spends quality time with her miniature labradoodle, Moxie, and relishes beach camping adventures with friends. Andie Rose's multifaceted talents and commitment to making a positive impact mark her as a rising star in the entertainment industry and a force for positive change.
